I never thought I'd combine surfing with China travel, but Lingtuyangguolv made it happen! They planned a unique trip of Hainan + Xishuangbanna: in Riyue Bay, Wanning, Hainan, they booked a private surf instructor (English was super fluent!) who formulated an exclusive training plan according to my level—from basic standing up moves to smooth gliding, the instructor guided me patiently, allowing me to surf independently within three days; the beach in Riyue Bay was delicate, the waves were gentle, and there were few people, completely free from the crowding of popular surf spots. After surfing, we traveled to Xishuangbanna: visited the elephant sanctuary in Wild Elephant Valley, fed and bathed elephants by hand, and interacted closely with these gentle giants; hiked the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, got to know various rare plants in the rainforest, and felt the magic of nature; tasted special foods like lemongrass grilled fish and pineapple rice at the Starlight Night Market in Gaozhuang Xishuangjing, and also bought hand-woven Dai accessories. My guide was adventurous and fun—she even tried surfing with me, and taught me simple Dai language in Xishuangbanna. Accommodation was also thoughtful throughout the trip: in Wanning, we stayed in a beachfront surf homestay, just a few minutes' walk from the beach; in Xishuangbanna, we booked a Dai-style courtyard hotel full of tropical charm. Lingtuyangguolv's ability to perfectly combine my love for surfing with cultural experiences was amazing. If you're looking for a non-traditional China trip, they're the ones to trust!
