I came to China for inspiration, and Lingtuyangguolv's custom tour gave me more than I could have dreamed of. They designed an art route of Fujian + Zhangye + Jingdezhen around my love for color and texture: in Dongshan Island, Zhangzhou, Fujian, we visited the colorful fishing village, where red, yellow, blue, and green houses stood against the mountains and sea, like a spilled palette, making me stop to sketch; in Zhangye Danxia National Geopark, Gansu, we wandered through the red, orange, yellow, and green Danxia landforms, and the craftsmanship of nature shocked me—everywhere was excellent creative material; in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, we walked into ancient porcelain kiln workshops, watched craftsmen make blue and white porcelain, and even experienced clay kneading and glazing by hand, firing our own ceramic works. During the trip, the guide was incredibly supportive—she helped me find high-quality watercolor paints and drawing paper in local markets, carried my sketchbook during the Danxia hike, and even contacted local ceramic artists for me to have one-on-one exchanges. The best part was the freedom to explore—if I wanted to spend hours sketching an ancient kiln or a piece of Danxia, they never rushed me. Lingtuyangguolv understands that artists need time to absorb their surroundings, and they tailored the itinerary to my pace. I've already started a new series of paintings inspired by this trip—thank you, Lingtuyangguolv!
